NDL Issues Unlimited Gamebryo License to TimeGate Studios

Chapel Hill, NC - NDL, a leading developer of 3D graphics technology for the video gaming industry, announced today that it has issued an unlimited-title license of its Gamebryo 3D graphics engine and toolkit to TimeGate Studios. TimeGate, the award-winning developer of the Kohan series, has a number of new development projects underway.

The flexibility of Gamebryo's tools framework will allow TimeGate to make each of their titles developed under the unlimited Gamebryo license truly unique."

The critically acclaimed Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns was TimeGate's debut title, and it captured the attention of reviewers worldwide. The fantasy-based real-time strategy game earned nearly 30 awards, including stellar reviews from many leading video gaming publications. In its review of the title, PC Gamer wrote, "Visually, the game is stunning. Units are animated beautifully, and the environments are very engaging for a game of this nature."
